Summer is around the corner and it’s the time when i start my hunt for interesting masks for my acne-prone skin. Did you ever find yourself spending hours reading tons of reviews on face masks? I did. It’s not that easy to find a face pack that can purify, refresh and sooth your skin without stripping it out. So today, I am here to share with you what I’ve found in drugstore segment. I believe affordable clarifying masks do the job as well as their high-end sisters. So here are the great drugstore masks that have helped me control my acne and oil problems.

#1. Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask

This natural mud mask clears up impurities with charcoal, which absorbent properties are ideal for those of us with oily skin. At the same time it treats our skin with beneficial antioxidants. It’s so rich and creamy so you might feel as if you are at the spa. Great working mask for dislodging debris from congested pores.

#2. Biore Self Heating One Minute Mask

Hate masks or simply have no time to use them? Try this mask that does its job for just one minute! Apply and massage for about 1 minute. As you massage, the mask will heat up. Great and fast way to de-gunk your pores.

#3. Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Daily Leave-On Mask

What differs this mask from the other masks for acne-prone skin is that is contains gold standard anti-acne ingredient benzoyl peroxide so it’s best suited for those who already have active blemishes and not only as preventive measure. I would call a medicated mask.

#4. Amara Organics Dead Sea Mud Mask

First and foremost, this mud mask contains just 2 ingredients: Dead Sea mud and Grapefruit Seed extract (as a preservative). Great option for those of us who prefer all natural masks without any extra fillers or add ins. It detoxifies impurities, calms acne, shrinks pores and tightens and smooths my skin.

#5. L’Oreal Paris Skin Care Pure Clay Mask Detox and Brighten

Luxuriously creamy clay mask that makes skin feel clean, fresh, and smooth revealing a purified, even, and radiant complexion. Your skin will look less oily as clay absorbs excess oil. It will not over-dry your skin and will rinse off easily.

#6. Pore Minimizing Red Clay Mask Acure Organics

I find this mask perfect for a brighter and more glowing complexion. Moroccan Red Clay is rich in nutrients and helps draw out impurities while argan stem cells hydrate and tone.

#7. Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

Yes, this is the bubble mask that everyone is obsessed now. After apply it on the skin it starts to bubble up and the “foam” gets bigger and bigger…and bigger. Scary, but so much of fun. It is good for purifying and clearing your skin but i would not use it more often than 2 a week as it might be a little bit drying.
